NORWAY WON!!!!!

Norway won the Eurovision song contest with most points ever in a eurovision contest.

I didn't even think he was gonna win, because Norway is always doing badly in these contests, but now, finally we won again.

Bobbysocks won in 1985

Secret Garden won in 1995

And Alexander Rybak won in 2009 =D

Norwegians are gonna remember this for a long long time, and we have a good reason to be proud of our 23 year old contestant ;)

And last but not least. He's coming to Bømlo (My home island) in two weeks =D

Even though I can't be there, it is still my island. My tiny little island with 11 000 people living on it ;)

And it is the 17th May tomorrow, which means Norway's national day. Even more to celebrate then. So all Norwegians should be smiling at this moment =D I know I am =)

(And I need some help deciding where I'm gonna stay next year. On the isle of Wight, or going back to Norway. Need help with this decision)

Very small update..

So there has been a little change of plans..
I'm going back to Norway tomorrow =D
And I decided that about 9 hours ago, so I'm going to Norway tomorrow, and back to the island on Sunday =)

So there's the update. Any questions, just ask =P

10 weeks left...

My brother has now been here just over a week, and he is leaving on Monday.. I'm gonna miss him a lot when he leaves, but I'd rather think about when I'm gonna see him again, and after he leaves, it's less than 10 weeks left of my High School Year...



If you think about it. 10 weeks isn't much, and it will go extremely quick since my exams are coming up after easter. So I don't think I will have any problem being busy in those weeks. My brother has had a few boring days with me, since I had to do some homework while he's been here. So my exam "timetable" looks like this:



Psychology: 15th May

Core 1: 20th May

Core 2: 22nd May

Chemistry: 3rd June

Mechanics: 5th June



I'm allright with psychology where I'm hoping for a C or B, and I think chemistry is fine, where I'm hoping to get a D or C. In the other 3, I'm just hoping to pass... =S

But I think it'll be allright ;)









BTW, I found this video on youtube which was sent to me a while back. When I went through my favourites from firefox, I found this video which is a reminder that however hard life gets, try to remember what life is really about. *Are you going to finish strong?*

Computer problems, lost password, and NO TIME...

Ok, now it's been a looooong time since I wrote here last. And parts of the reason for that is that I lost my password.. But as you can see, I found it.. =P

My computer decided to go bye-bye, so I had a lot of work trying to get it to work again, and lots of schoolwork has also been a reason for not writing...

But I'm here now and I'm gonna try to give you a short update of the last 2,5 months.. ;)

Not much have happened really. Schoolwork schoolwork schoolwork and schoolwork.

SNOW happened.. I couldn't actually believe it.. SNOW, on the Isle of Wight.. And all the schools on the island got closed, because of 2 cm snow.. xD

And on Thursday 2nd April, my brother comes.. =D

I'm really looking forward to see him, and even though he comes straight from australia with his class ("jumping" off in London), and coming down here, I'm still gonna make him come to school.. At least one of the days before the easter holiday.. =P

That's another thing that's coming up soon.. Easter...

Only one week left at school and we have two weeks off =D

That's basically a short update. I'll try and update more as soon as I have something to tell ;)

Before we go into the new year, I would like to share some funny pictures I found in the little free time I've had these (almost) two weeks I've been home. December :)

That means that I can finally listen to christmas music, open my gift calendar from home and seriously begin my "countdown"... It is now only 15 days until I go home for Christmas.

The day today started with me going to the Brighstone christmas tree festival with Sue, and when I got back, I was supposed to do some work. Something that didn't happen (as usual). So now I'm watching the second film of Harry Potter with Emily today. That's basically all we've been doing today.

And I'm really tired, so I would love to go to bed and sleep for 2 weeks, but since I can't really do that, I have to stay up and do my homework :P


But on the bright side, I will be home in about two weeks to see my dog, mom, brother, grandmother and my best friend, who I've missed these past few months. Before I get home, I've been here 4 months already. And when I get back, I only have 6 months left, and in that time, I'll get visitors as well, so it won't seem that long. And if time passes by as fast as it has these months, then I will be home before I know it.

My very "normal" brother...

As very many people know, I have a brother. He is also my best friend and I really miss him, so I thought I could share with you how "normal" he really is. I'm no longer sure if he turns 2 or 20 in February, but since he's older than me, and I'm 17, I guess he will be 20 :P
I do love him, but I might not BE very loved when he sees what pictures I've used...
