Happy New Year

Before we go into the new year, I would like to share some funny pictures I found in the little free time I've had these (almost) two weeks I've been home. Some of them are norwegian and some english (obviously!). I'm not as stupid as I look or write (or sound), but I think I have humour.. Maybe.. It's up to you as a reader to find out. December :)

That means that I can finally listen to christmas music, open my gift calendar from home and seriously begin my "countdown"... It is now only 15 days until I go home for Christmas.

The day today started with me going to the Brighstone christmas tree festival with Sue, and when I got back, I was supposed to do some work. Something that didn't happen (as usual). So now I'm watching the second film of Harry Potter with Emily today. That's basically all we've been doing today.

And I'm really tired, so I would love to go to bed and sleep for 2 weeks, but since I can't really do that, I have to stay up and do my homework :P


But on the bright side, I will be home in about two weeks to see my dog, mom, brother, grandmother and my best friend, who I've missed these past few months. Before I get home, I've been here 4 months already. And when I get back, I only have 6 months left, and in that time, I'll get visitors as well, so it won't seem that long. And if time passes by as fast as it has these months, then I will be home before I know it.

My very "normal" brother...

As very many people know, I have a brother. He is also my best friend and I really miss him, so I thought I could share with you how "normal" he really is. I'm no longer sure if he turns 2 or 20 in February, but since he's older than me, and I'm 17, I guess he will be 20 :P
I do love him, but I might not BE very loved when he sees what pictures I've used...

As I said, I love him and miss him very much, so I'm looking forward to seing him again at christmas time.. :)

Almost weekend again :)

Tomorrow, we have academic review day at school. My "appointment" is at 10:15, and after that me and Emily is going to Newport :)

Since I have to send things home before I leave in 5 weeks and 3 days, there is some christmas shopping that has to be done first. I don't really like christmas in the middle of November, but since it is already there, I can get it done...

For those of you who doesn't know it... I'm collecting stones, so if anyone sees an Australian black opal, I would be very happy to know where I could find one..

And also, I got my mechanics homework back today :D Since I started school here, I've failed maths and mechanics with less than 40% each time. But today I got 60%, which means a C... And I'm really happy about it, so I just had to write it somewhere :P

I am actually thinking about taking my year 13 here as well. Something my friends at home didn't think was a very good idea, since they want me back. I made miss Pratt happy though. She loves hearing that "her school" is better than others. But the biggest down-side I can think of is that I won't be able to graduate with my class at home. And for those who doesn't know it, it is a pretty big thing, because we get to be "russ", which seems pretty fun. If you want to know more about what it is, Wikipedia has a pretty good explanation...
